Manchester: Rockingham Recreational Trail

The unpaved 26-mile Rockingham Recreational Trail follows the former Portsmouth Branch of the Boston and Maine Railroad. The NH DOT converted the abandoned railway into a rail-trail.

The western end of the trail begins along the shore of Massabesic Lake in Manchester NH and carves its way through secluded woodlands to the Newfields railroad depot.
