The Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail in northwest Vermont is a 26-mile all-season Rails-to-Trails recreation path which largely parallels Route 105 and the Missisquoi River, passing through six towns between St. Albans and Richford, Vermont. The packed gravel surface is suitable for walking or biking (wide tires are recommended) and XC skiing in winter. It is closed to motorized vehicles except snowmobiles in winter. Easy access to refreshments at several points. Except for the several crossings of Route 105 and side roads, the trail is continuous for its entire length.
