Larry Galante created a Memorial Bike Ride for Christina Genco, a BU alum and Newton native, who died in a cycling accident while she was leading a cross-country bicycle trip with Bike &Build. Christina and Larry biked together from Boston to Santa Barbara, CA in 2009. The ride commemorated Christina’s life and raised money for the Christina Clarke Genco Foundation, which supports causes that Christina was passionate about: Habitat for Humanity and Bike & Build.
