The Dirty Dozen bike race is held annually in Pittsburgh on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and features thirteen of the city’s steepest hills. This is Canton Avenue, possibly the steepest street in the world. Any rider who fails to maintain forward progress must descend to the bottom of the hill and ride up again.
