The second charity bike ride called “Food Justice Bike Ride” will be held on June 30, 2019.
Start/Finish at Just Roots Community Farm, 34 Glenbrook Drive, Greenfield, MA. Two scenic courses with some hills (15 & 43 miles) with proceeds going to Just Roots Community Farm.
The 15 miler is intended for the occasional recreational rider who hasn’t put in a lot of miles each week but likes to get out for some exercise and just have some fun. There are some small hills but when you’re out there, we’re confident you will rise to the challenge. The 15 mile ride will start at 9:30. There are some nice hills in this one, 2 cat 5’s and over 2000 feet of climbing. There are also 2 refreshment stops, one at 14+ miles (2nd Street Baking in Turners Falls) and another one shortly after you make the turn onto River Road in Deerfield, around mile 27.
