The Ididaride is a 75-mile one-day bike ride in the Adirondacks sponsored by the Adirondack Mountain Club, starting from the Ski Bowl Park Pavilion on Ski Bowl Park Road in North Creek, NY. The ride is all on good roads through the central Adirondack Mountains, most of which is public land. Towns visited include Bakers Mills, Wells, Speculator, Sabael, Indian Lake, North River, and North Creek.
Proceeds benefit Adirondack Mountain Club, (ADK), 95-year old conservation, advocacy and recreation organization that protects wild lands and waters all across New York State. Contact: sunday@adk.org
Start Times
- 75-mile loop Packet pick-up is between 7:15 and 8:15 a.m.; group departure at 8:30 a.m. from the Ski Bowl Park Pavilion on Ski Bowl Park Road in North Creek. The total elevation for the 75 mile loop is 6,840 ft.
- 23-mile off-road, gravel grinder, 11:30 am. Hybrid bikes are recommended.
