Tour de Slate 2019The annual Tour de Slate fund-raising bike ride supports the addiction-ending efforts of Teen Challenge,VT. The rides will start and finish in Middletown Springs, VT and be followed by delicious Chicken Curry, all-American burgers and hot dogs served on the green in Middletown Springs.

The Tour de Slate is made up of five different routes designed to provide an enjoyable ride no matter what your level of experience. The most challenging rides, for avid road cyclists, are a 100 mile century and a metric century (100km, 63.4 mi) ride. The additional choices of a 36 mile route, a 22 mile route or a family ride (off-road on a trail) will ensure that there is a ride suitable for everyone. The ‘Tour de Slate’ is aptly named as it tours the world-renowned Slate Valley of western Vermont and bordering NY state.

    1. Gordon, A couple of things. First would you please change Tour de Slate listing to five rides instead of four. We’ve added a 100 mile option. Also, has the add that we’ve done in the past changed? We used to pay $10.00/mo for add at right side of page. Thanks. Stan

      1. Thanks, made the changes. The charge for ads this year is $20/month, and they will appear in the right column of every page and post. Cycle the Seacoast and Trek Across Maine are currently posted.

  1. The 2020 ride is August 1, 2020. Also we have added a 100 mile ride option. Also we’d like to run a banner ad like we’ve done in previous years. Please advise how to go forward with that. Thanks. Stan
