The Loon Echo Bike Trek offers 25, 50, 80 or 100 miles, with scenic rural roads, starting and ending in Bridgton, Maine, circling through the mountains to Bethel and back.
The 18th annual Loon Echo Trek is the largest event benefiting the Loon Echo Land Trust! Proceeds from the event and sponsorship help us in our mission to conserve land for future generations.
The Trek begins at Shawnee Peak Ski Area in Bridgton, ME. Hike 4.5 or 6 miles across the ridge line of beautiful Pleasant Mountain, or bike 25, 50, 80 or 100 miles through the scenic hills and valleys of western Maine. Do a bit of both with the Trek’s Hike & Bike option!
The Century ride is shown below. Prepare for a very steep 1,200 foot descent through Evans Notch.
