Ride to Thrive, Harvard MA

The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden Cancer Support Center is a 501c(3) non-profit organization based in Harvard MA. The Healing Garden is the premiere provider of integrative oncology care in Massachusetts, offering cancer support programs immersed in 8 acres of serene woodlands in the heart of Harvard, MA. For almost 20 years the Healing Garden’s goal has been to optimize the quality of life for all those who are affected by cancer – men, women, and their caregivers – regardless of cancer type, prognosis, or financial ability to pay for services.

Ride to ThriveThe Healing Garden’s Perennial Walk and Ride to Thrive is on Oct 6, 2019. This is our biggest fundraiser and brings together members of our extended community from volunteers to walkers, riders, corporate supporters and friends. The Walk/Ride is a full day of camaraderie, community spirit, and support for those affected by cancer. Riders pedal through miles of pastoral scenery in Nashoba Valley, and walkers take on a 3.5-mile hike passing farmland in beautiful Harvard, MA. The day ends in a celebration of food, music, and fun for the entire family.
