CHAD Hero, Hanover NH

The CHaD HERO is a fundraising and athletic event benefiting CHaD, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Starting in 2006 as just a half marathon run it has grown to include a competitive 5K run, Cam’s Course 1 Mile Fun Run, 5K walk, 5 and 7 mile wooded hikes, a limited entry 25 or 50 mile bike ride.

The CHaD Half Century ride is a picturesque 50 mile course through the Upper Connecticut River Valley in near peak foliage season. Participating cyclists have a $500 fundraising minimum. Proceeds go to the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

The ride starts from the Norris Cotton Cancer Center entrance at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center campus (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH.

  1. Update:
The CHaD HERO is the premier athletic-fundraising event benefiting kids and families receiving care at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD). This 15th CHaD HERO will take place VIRTUALLY. Walk, run, bike, hike or complete your own Virtual Quest activity – hike the Appalachian Trail, race across the state, do a read-a-thon, the sky’s the limit! You can complete the activity anytime, anywhere from October 4-October 18.

CHaD HERO Day, October 18, 2020 will remain a day of celebration and joy, supporting the patients and programs at CHaD. We will host a virtual CHaD HERO celebration with live music, special guests, raffle prizes, and more!

Registration fees will be $15 and we are waiving fundraising minimums for the year. Registration opens July 13 at http://www.chadhero.org.
