The annual Cycle for Shelter to benefit Emmaus will be held at Northern Essex Community College. Cyclists can ride a 20-mile, 40-mile, 62-mile or 100-mile scenic route that will take them through Haverhill, MA, up to the seacoast of New Hampshire, and south through the North Shore of Massachusetts. Upon returning to the college, riders can enjoy delicious food prepared by local restaurants, music and massages.
Proceeds from this event benefit Emmaus, a non-profit housing and human services organization in Haverhill that serves homeless and formerly homeless families and single adults.

Cycle for Shelter UPDATE (4/29/20):
July 1-September 30, 2020
Haverhill, Mass.
VIRTUAL Cycle for Shelter to benefit Emmaus.
All participants will pledge to ride for Emmaus between July 1 and September 30. You can ride your miles all at once, or you can ride them over the course of the summer. Or you can choose to do your miles at home on a trainer or exercise/spinning bike.
During these times we are all craving community. Please sign up as a virtual rider and automatically become part of our Cycle for Shelter community. This will give you access to key information and the chance to enjoy online community gatherings with other cyclists.
The fundraising minimum has been waived, but we do hope that if you sign up to ride, you will raise money to support Emmaus, a non-profit housing and human services organization in Haverhill that serves homeless and formerly homeless families and single adults. Emmaus is anticipating a loss of revenue of more than $250,000 as a result of canceled events, increased staffing costs, and enhanced facility maintenance expenses due to COVID-19.
All riders who raise a minimum of $100 will receive customized Emmaus protective gear (either a face mask or stretchy neck gaiter).
**Please note—we expect all riders to adhere to the safety and social distancing guidelines set forth by your home state. Please do not ride in groups until it is deemed safe to do so.**
For more information, please call (978) 241-3425 or email cycle@emmausinc.org or visit http://www.emmausinc.org or http://events.emmausinc.org/cycle20.
