The King Challenge is a fundraising event for Krempels Center, a Portsmouth NH based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with brain injury. This event has a special connection to the King family, through the local cycle-racing legends Robbie and Teddy King, who are actively involved with supporting the event. Three routes, of varying lengths, accommodate a wide range of cycling abilities, fundraising minimums are set at easily attainable levels and the focus is on family fun. The King Challenge has lots of family-friendly activities, food, drink and entertainment throughout the day and a great post-ride party.
2024 Event Info
Date: Saturday, October 12, 2024
Start Time: 9:00AM group start for all distances
Rider Packet Pick-up: opens 7:00AM
Event Central: Timberland – 200 Domain Drive, Stratham, NH
Celebration Time: Post-ride refreshments are available from 11:30AM until 2:30PM
Routes:
10 Mile Route: a gently rolling, family-friendly loop!
30 Mile Route: a bit more of a challenge, but manageable for most. Riders will cover some of the Kings’ favorite roads!
60 Mile Route: a “Metric Century” for enthusiasts or any rider with a fair amount of saddle time. Rural roads with stunning views of Great Bay as a reward!
Fundraising Requirements:
Adult $200 (minimum) individual requirement
Youth (8-17 years): $25 (minimum) individual requirement
