Description: “This is a rolling-to-hilly ride through beautiful rural areas of southwest RI along quiet, winding backroads. Shannock is a picturesque old mill town, with some quaint old homes and the remains of its once-proud railroad station from the late 1800’s. There are two fire towers on the route; one at the crest of Shannock Hill (a challenge); the other about 500 ft. to the left along a dirt road after Gardner Rd.”
