Waltham Prospect Hill Climb

Prospect Hill Park is a 252-acre wooded park with two main summits,  owned by the City of Waltham, MA.  At 485 feet, the higher summit, Big Prospect, is the second highest point in the vicinity of Boston. The main entrance and parking area are located on the northern side of the property at 314 Totten Pond Road. The southern entrance is located off of Prospect Hill Road and is for foot traffic only.

The Randall D. Jacobs Hill Climb was organized by Wheelworks & TrentsEvents.com in 2010.  The 0.9-mile climb has a 350’ elevation gain, a 9% average grade, and an 18% max grade.

Directions: From I-95, take exit 27A. Go East on Totten Pond Rd. After 0.4 miles enter Prospect Hill Park, 314 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA
