Start: Public library or church, downtown Union CT. (map to start)
Park at the white church on right at the green in the center of Union, Ct.
Description: Starting from Union, this ride circuits four towns, passing an area of rugged, wooded hills separated by ponds and lakes. From Union green, country lanes will descend to the Staffordville Reservoir. Wales is a village on the Lake George shore and host a country fair in August. Heading to Brimfield brings you over high ridges with farms and views ending downhill to Brimfield. Note its green, white church and Victoriantown hall. Explore the antique shops and merchants setup for the July flea market. From Brimfield, head south to the summer cottage village of Holland, along the Hamilton Reservoir shores back to Union.
