Starting from downtown New Paltz, NY, this bicycle ride circles past Ashokan Reservoir and is for serious cyclists who love climbing and gorgeous views. A mix of wider roads with shoulders and a steady stream of traffic, and very narrow paved roads with little traffic. Not for the faint of heart, there is almost a vertical mile of climb on this route.
