The American Lung Association Trek Across Maine is held annually. In 2016 the three day ride went from the mountains at Sunday River to the sea in Belfast, 180 miles across the state of Maine. This ride was fully supported by volunteers and trained medical staff, including support vehicles along the route and three rest stops daily.
The Maine Bike Rally is a three day combined effort of local enthusiasts, the Casco Bay Bicycle Club, Merrymeeting Wheelers Bicycle Club and the Bicycle Coalition of Maine.
