The Black River Scenic Byway Trail is a 95-mile route connecting Rome and Dexter NY, in the Tug Hill region and along the Black River. Other communities on the trail include Westernville, Boonville, Port Leyden, Lyons Falls, Glenfield, Lowville, Castorland, Naumburg, Carthage, Deferiet, Great Bend, Felts Mills, Black River and Watertown.
