The Three Notch Century takes participants on a challenging and scenic ride through the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Cyclists begin at The Kanc Lodge in Lincoln, NH and ride through Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch and the Kancamagus Highway.
The Champion the Cure century ride follows the Penobscot River north from Brewer Maine to Lincoln, then reverses course on highways with wide shoulders.
The former MS Minuteman Ride visits the beautiful roads of historic Concord and surrounding towns west of Boston. Most of the roads on this ride are excellent. Route 302 had some traffic but the other roads have very little. I went long stretches at times with seeing no cars. The Kinsman Notch section has a 13% grade going up, and 9% going down.
