Description: “A favorite club ride. Ride past salt ponds and Sakonnet Vineyards (for great water view, do the optional loop to Sakonnet Point). Little Compton is a traditional New England village, with its white church. In the burial ground lies Elizebeth Pabodie (daughter of John Alden). Long ride goes into Westport for a spin along Horseneck Beach. Food at Gray’s Ice Cream in Little Compton; Ellie’s Place in Westport; Bayside on Horseneck Rd, and farmstands along the route (in season).”
