Third Annual Tour de Farm Bike-a-thon, fun, healthy and educational bike ride highlighting the scenic landscapes of the upper Hudson River Valley. Riders can choose between a 15 and a 35 mile route. Each route tours the farmland and historic sites within the “view shed” of Saratoga National Historical Park, Sunday, July 29, 2012. The funds raised will go to land conservation in this special area of the upper Hudson Valley. Riders will learn about interesting farms and historical sites along the way that have been relatively unchanged since the 1777 Battle of Saratoga. There will also be a delicious picnic featuring local food and refreshments at the finish! Riders pay a flat registration fee, then set a fundraising goal and ask their family and friends to support their ride!.
