This 13 mile ride begins at the Essex Street Inn near downtown Newburyport MA, and crosses the Merrimack River Rt. 1 bridge to Salisbury. Turn off immediately to take local roads to Salisbury Beach State Reservation. Return following Rt. 110 to the town of Salisbury and then cycle a couple of miles on the Salisbury Trail ( Clipper City Rail Trail extension) before returning to town.
