The Capital Crescent Trail (CCT) is a shared use off-road trail from Georgetown in the District of Columbia to Silver Spring, Maryland, built upon the abandoned railbed of the 11 mile Georgetown Branch of the B&O Railroad. The trail is paved from Georgetown to Bethesda, where it becomes packed crushed stone trail to Lyttonsville. Four bridges and two tunnels are among the roadway crossings.
